Karat & Carat is Sean and Lili’s shop. Husband and wife, they run it together and have sold fine jewelry on Etsy since 2016, to customers across the USA, Europe and beyond.

A name in gold script, an engraved locket, a design you have carried in your head for years. Sean and Lili take custom orders, and their New York maker partners produce the shop’s special orders.

Before you order

Is it real gold?

Each listing names its gold, most often 14k, with 10k and 18k pieces too. The shop says every piece is checked for purity of gold, and stones are genuine unless described otherwise.

What does shipping cost?

Shipping was free on every listing in September 2026. Each item shows its own delivery estimate. For US orders, import duties are included in the checkout price; buyers outside the US may pay customs fees on delivery.

Can I return a piece?

Contact the shop within 3 days for return instructions. Items go back in their original condition within 14 days of receipt, and the buyer pays return shipping. Damaged, used or custom-made items cannot be returned. The refund follows soon after the package arrives.

Can I cancel an order?

Cancellations are not accepted. If there is any problem with an order, message the shop on Etsy.

Do you make custom pieces?

Yes. Use “Request Custom Order” on the Etsy shop page and describe what you have in mind.

How do I pay?

Through Etsy’s secure checkout; the shop never sees your card details. Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits are accepted.
